Who is the Teacher Masterclass for?
A: Any teacher that is seeking growth and expertise - and of any experience level. It does not matter if the teachers have been teaching for 30 years or 30 minutes, the Teacher Masterclass is designed to elevate the teaching knowledge and skills of any educator.
How long is the training course?
A: The course is comprised of video lessons, activities, reflections, and downloadable materials. In total, teachers usually take around 8 hours to complete the entire training. Each video lesson is 2-7 minutes in length and when teachers complete the program they are issued a certificate for 8 hours of training.
How long do teachers have access to the course and coaching?
A: We provide an industry best 12 months of access to the course and group coaching. As we want to support each teacher to be at their best, we want to also give them the time to grow at their pace.
Who is leading the coaching and training?
A: Most of the coaching is led by our president and founder, Travis Hostetter. He has worked in education for over 20 years as a teacher and administrator. The expertise of Travis and the atlearning team is outstanding and will guide your teachers to grow educators.
How will I know if my teachers are actually doing the program and are learning?
A: We provide each school with enrolled teachers with our “School Leaders Guide” to the Teacher Masterclass. This is a brief, but mighty document. We ask that an administrator, coach, mentor, or peer check in with each enrolled teacher for 5 minutes per week. The Guide provides talking points and questions to engage the teacher and to connect over the topics that they are learning and helps to hold them accountable.
What kind of results should I expect?
A: Typically, teachers who are enrolled in the Teacher Masterclass are much less likely to struggle and turnover. In fact, enrolled teachers frequently experience 50% less turnover than their peers.
